Please show me where I said the Technics would not hold a candle to the VPI? What i said in fact was “Until you hear this turntable, you can't say how good it sounds or have your heard it and compared it to the Technics?”

Plus I never said specs are meaningless, people pay too much attention to specs. I said I did not care about specs as long as it sounds good to my ears.

I am not going to buy something that has good specs but sound like crap, maybe other people would but not me.
of course, we all know specs alone are not the end all, but please don't tell me in the world of 'DD' turntables specs aren't a factor
Hopefully VPI will have a winner with this table, I hear that half of the 400 slated for production have already been spoken for, good for them !
