Greetings
I noticed this preamp currently on offer via eBay and I'm just curious to learn more about it.

I assume that this is just a RB version on the current Fet Valve CFR pre that is available from VA ... so the same audio circuits but no tone, filters, remote input switching, low/hi gain, etc.
Is that a correct assumption?
I'm curious how this pre would compare to the current RB10 that is available from VA and which I also own.
Is this audio circuit specifically a different sound presentation that the single 6922 per side equipped RB10?
Is it a lower noise circuit? Is the main benefit of a cathode follower a very low output impedance which would be better equipped to drive the next stage in the power amp?
thanks
