Current Rega Apollo Input Needed
« on: 6 Jul 2021, 12:58 am »
After some home repairs are behind me I think I"m going to break down and buy a modern CD player.
I've heard good things about the new Rega and the purchase will be a new item just for the warranty.

I had a Planet 2000 years ago with no issues but it didn't really impress me as being anything especially wonderful.  I did like the top loading feature although I hear many Regas had problems with discs reading.

Another thought would be to pick up a used Rega DAC and use that with my old hHB 830 Burn-It Plus as a transport.
Those things may make a lot of coasters but they always play back okay.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

That hHB records great but sounds pretty crummy on playback.

Lost my marbles and bought a Rega Saturn so I think that will do the trick.
