I have a Green and an Amber Regen for sale. I have one housing so I'm going to treat this as if I had a single unit and you can choose which one you like better. The first gen. was the green version which for me sounded better than the Amber. The Amber came out and was supposed to be better and I believe for many that was the case.
These make a very noticeable difference in the sound of many systems. I really liked the Green version on many different configurations in my system. When I purchased my Lampizator Atlantic with Volume control then and only then could I not tell a difference whether the Regen was in or out of the system. Otherwise it really cleans up the sound and makes your system sound much more open and transparent. It somehow filters out the background noise and just leaves the music crisp and clean for you to enjoy.
