Hi All

bhallin here.

I've been away from audio for almost 30 years, having lost all my equipment in a "fun" divorce. I had some very good sounding speakers/electronics, then. I'm married now to a woman who loves to listen to classical music with me but doesn't want to spend any money on equipment. I bought Andrew Jone's Pioneer SP-BS22-LR speakers a few months ago and she liked those so much she bought me a Parasound Halo 5 preamplifier and a Rotel power amplifier to go with them. Now I'm looking for some speakers in the $200 to $400 range. Probably will go with one of the new Elac Debut speakers, if they sound as good as I hear.

I'm interested in budget components - getting the most for my money. I Hope to read about and hear from people with the same interest.
