System Overview

I put way to much time and energy into this system over the years causing me both grief and pleasure but the end results so far were worth the excercise.

Classic rock, easy listening, Jazz and others.

Room Description

Dedicated audio/video room with only couch , stereo and projection TV. I don't use the Projection TV. Room is used primarily for 2 channel audio.

Speakers

Hales T5's I redid the crossovers (all the caps ,resisters , coils and wiring were replaced with better stuff than came stock). I also replaced the tweeters with Seas Millenium tweeters with good results.

Speaker Cable

Shunyata Lyra Biwired with Bybee Golden Goddess Slipstream speaker tails attached to them.

Interconnects

Shunyata Aries 1 meter XLR from pre to amp and from CDP to pre and tuner to pre

Power Cables

Electraglide Ultra Khan Revised Revelation II from wall to Hydra and from Hydra to preamp and from Hydra to amp. I am using Synergistic Research's Designer's Reference from Hydra to CDP.Electraglide Fatman from Hydra to tuner.

Racking

Wattgate 381 in wall,Hydra 6, Orchard Bay cones under speakers and preamp,Orchard bay ballbearing devices under amp and under Skylan isolation platform of which the preamp's power supply sits.Atlantas stereo rack coned at bottom and coned under top shelf
