Hi Steve -

I want to replace the sorbothane isolators in my VPI with Tenderfeet to reduce motor vibration to the plinth (no SAMA).  The plinth weight (with platter, tonearm) is probably 30-40 lbs (haven't measured yet).  Will the soft or extra-firm do a better job of motor isolation in this scenario?

Hi, Todd. Though we have HW-19 customers using both TenderSoft and Extra-Firm Big Tall Tenderfeet with excellent results, I recommend the Extra-Firm version. (If you have any particular macro-type vibration like footfall issues, then the TenderSoft version would likely be the better choice.)
