Tom, with three stereo rooms going, switching out speakers and amps, laying out the burgeoning food spread, dispensing drinks, playing host, and answering queries, I decided people were having so much fun listening to good music and chatting that they did not need a drill sergeant keeping the battle of the amps running on a rail schedule.
Sometimes folks want to listen in dedicated silence, but yesterday they were just ready to cut loose and eat, drink, and swap stories. I never see ten or fifteen people hanging in a room with music and a stereo they dislike, so all was great. We can catch the Dynaco and Marantz another dAy. They aren’t going anywhere.
