Hi all.
At that Vietnamese restaurant,
they cut open the snake in front of you
and drain it's blood which then is mixed
(Don't know the ratio)
with some wine and believe me or not,
they drink it, but not me thank you.

Hi all.
Did you see?
The bottom sign?
{{ Vietnam bank for the poor Ho Chi Minh City Branch. }}

Picture taken in Thailand about 25 years ago.
At that time construction security was none of their concern
and I am sure that even today,
it does not match the North America standard.

Another Hummingbird shot. Everybody needs and wants food - nourishment!

This Hummingbird prepares to land at the our feeder for a yummy breakfast of Organic Cane Sugar. The red color is the feeder glass,
NOT the color of the nectar. Hummingbirds are attracted to the color red, but putting red dye in their water poisons them.

Without any complaint, this little bird will visit the feeder repeatedly, literally hundreds, if not thousands, of times today.
It makes me wonder just how many times in a day do we approach those things which truly provide, feed and nourish us...

Hey GNUYORK: Check your messages. I sent you a PM.

Hey!

Din/Bside123, must be nice to have something like that visiting your backyard. Wish I could do the same here in NYC  :?

PeteG, that's a great bee shot. I guess you were there a the right time of the day with nice clear weather, that bright natural like sure gives that flower a nice luminescence look to it. Very nice :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

World War I, Battle of the Somme region.  British Military Cemeteries are everywhere.   :bawl:

This young German couple walked through very solemnly, as if staggered by it all.

Amazing the number of visitors to these places some 100 years later.  Many of the people who signed the visitor registers were there to visit specific graves, the memories still strong.

Hi charmerci.
Nice shots.
I use to always ask for window seat to look at the clouds,
but now, I have to insist to get an aisle seat,
as I have to go to the toilet every 5 minutes.

A Clear Case of Hummingbird Wings... and Neck

By the way, the average size/length of a Female Ruby Throated Hummingbird is only 3.5 inches (8.9cm). Keep this in mind when you are viewing this image!

Spent the day taking pics in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Snagged a pic of a Great Blue Heron and the lesser seen Green Heron.
