Has anyone tried this one?

I could not buy the bits and pieces to make this amp cheaper than the advertised price.

Cheers

Hi No Capes

I am interested in an 845 amp but this particular one has a preamp and I have a preamp so don't need it, but would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried it.

I do hope to build a Darling amp soon as a cheap introduction to tube amps.

Howdy no capes. I had a look at this amp. It looks ok, and 845's are very popular now. I not sure about the PCB's . I have seen a few tracks fail with the heat from tube amps. Mybe just that I am a point to point wired man. Maybe you could enquire about the quality of the PCB's.

how about $1000usd for an assembled pair of 845 mono blocks?  while i haven't heard them, folks i trust say this company makes excellent sounding gear.

shipping is a bit pricey; but it's still a good deal. imo...
