A and B speakers outputs; 16, 8, 4, ohm outputs; speaker biwire outputs.

The Franks had nominal Impedance from 3 -16 ohms on both posts. A/B and biwire use cases make sense. Thanks for that.

For my own edification, why do manufacturers include multiple speaker level outs then?

To present different amp output impedances to the speakers.  4 and 8 ohm posts on the amp are most common.

Or, if both posts are the same output impedance, to make it easier to bi-wire.   Sometimes, 2 spades are hard to attach to the same post.

Seems like you could just run cable to your main speakers and the the subs from there.  My subs are close to the mains.  Some don't do it that way.  I use the subs' low level inputs from the preamp anyway.  So I guess I'm "just sayin'".

I sometimes do it that way too......

spkr cables from main amp to main speakers;  then cables from main speakers to sub

Wow, I would love to have those. Great choice! I just got the super8XRS jrs. I'm very happy with them, no harshness at all, super detail and fantastic bass. I can only guess how good the ones you ordered will sound.

nice choice..  which SET did you decide on? i use a decware zen/zrock2 with my 3xrs HO, but lately i've been running it with 1 watt LTA MZ2/zrock2, and man it is impressive.

Based upon the sage wisdom of MarkR7 I went with the Coincident Frankenstein M300b mkII mono blocks. Can't wait to hear how everything sounds together once it all arrives. :thumb:
