Another shout out to Bryston

I have always been exceedingly pleased with the sound I get from my system anchored by my 28b-2’s, which should be marketed as thrill rides.

But I made some changes to phono cables,ICs and speaker cables that presented playback in a completely new light.

I knew how well the 28’s dig out the minutest detail. Or I thought I did. There is a radiance not hitherto present and a window into the smallest signal in the mix. Tones that were hinted at are now fully embraced .  The blatt  of the brass... an aching longing in a sad sax line ... jeeps! I wasn’t prepared for how well the 28s handle a delicate line.

Pretty cool achievement for a kilowatt mono block.

Just wanted to tell James in case he didn’t know. 😉

BTW, the LP that best exemplifies is “Francis A. Edward K” Ellington and Sinatra collaboration. Stunning production. And also Billy Holiday’s Song for Distingue Lovers.
