Sonore Signature Rendu for Qobuz/Tidal only?
« on: 27 Mar 2020, 05:31 pm »
Hello I have unanswered questions despite tons of googling.

I am looking to move up from a bluesound node 2 for Qobuz and Tidal and not looking to play any files, just stream over the net to my dac with a coax cable input. I currently use the BS app to control volume out of the node2 coax out straight to the amp.

Is it possible to just use my android phone and no other hardware like a computer or server or NAS via the SSR?
And the android app also control volume?

Thanks!

Just saw this response. I did see that some weeks ago but still wasn't as sure as I am now. Thank you vortecjr!

Yes, you can that. Have a look here: https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/27851-sonicorbiter-tidalqobuz/

Finally tried this but something's off. sonicorbiter.com cannot seem to see my machine. I unplugged my TV & Bluray ethernet cable and, logging into my router it shows my node2 and another device connected by ethernet but unseen by sonicorbiter.

I queried my network and found the IP address assigned to it. Seems it *is* connected so I went to that address and this is what showed up:

Is there an extra step I need to do to get sonicorbiter.com to see it?
Thanks for any help!
