Rosconey,

Congratulations!  I have just the things to get you started.  I have complete collection of Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand, Montovani, Ferrante & Teicher, and a bunch of boxed sets of Reader's Digest mood generators -- the kind with rotating wheel to find the right music for particular moods.   I also have a bunch of Boston Pops stuff like Arthur Fiedler does Saturday Night Fever, etc.  A lot of Ken Griffin organ stuff as well.  Great stuff -- for someone.   You are welcome to them if you will pick up or cover shipping!  I will throw in some Smothers Brothers and Bill Cosby as well!

Actually, I am about toss them to Salvation Army.

Welcome to the 20th century!

Just got a 2nd turntable myself.
I saw that Project TT in the MusicDirect catalog last night.   Looks pretty slick.
Which color did you get?

I took the vinyl plunge a couple of months ago. Of course, I was only going to amke a minor investment but now I'm on my second turntable and third phono stage. I bought a Nitty Gritty record cleaner and it really improves the sound of old records. I bought a lot of vinyl on ebay really cheap and most of it sounds pretty good after it's cleaned. Have fun.

I got into vinyl about four months ago I now have 2 turntables, vpi 16.5, 2 cartridges and 600 records.  I also am considering on building a turntable.  I love vinyl and wish I had never got rid of my old records and bought a cd player
