Picture Of The Day

I thought I'd start a topic called Picture of the Day. This can be a thread where all of you photog's out there can post a picture you've taken (recent or old) that you think other people will enjoy. If you kept note of it, be sure to let everybody know the settings you used on your camera and be sure to tell us a bit about the shot.

Since we are an audio/music lovers site, I thought I'd start with something apripos.......

This is a pic I took a couple of years ago down at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas. It was at the Saturday night jam session and Eric Clapton was doin' a big 'ole bent note. I was lucky enough to have press passes for the three day even. This pic was taken from the photo pit under ambient light conditions (I typically don't shoot with a flash). The camera I used was a very inexpensive Sony FD-97 2.1 MP. Unfortunately I don't have a clue what the settings were.

I live in Western NC and our house is on 12.5 acres. Our nearest neighbor is about 1500' from the house.

The snake is a common black rat snake, a 6-7 footer but, pretty harmless really... Chipper the dog was very proud of herself though!
