He owes me a visit, though he's busy putting in a new heating system in his home, so I wont bother him.Love the B-3, been collecting all of Shirley Scott's work 'cuz of it.

jimd (flashback), yes Eddie's work is superior, in the same vein as Weber. They both make the bass sing. I had New Directions with he, DeJohnette, & Abercrombie, but the CD got damaged somehow, unplayable. I've got the LP Directions with the same lineup.

The two Stan Kenton albums I tried so far have been excellent, a 'smaller' big band feel, or a very large jazz quartet, maybe a dectet.
