CAROL SLOANE   OUT OF THE BLUE- I HAD TO IMPORT THIS FROM JAPAN AS THERE WERE NO COPIES AVAILABLE IN THE USA.-THIS WAS MADE IN 1959. IT IS IN STEREO WHICH WAS A NEW TECHNOLOGY THEN.

Seriously CB, you should post some of these over in the Pic thread. Great comp, good subject, and a really nice resolution.  :thumb:

Nice album too. One of these days I'll re-expand my library.    :(  8)

Thanks brother. Nothing fancy in the camera department. No matter what equipment you use it's all about the amount of lighting and how it's reflected. I'm am in no way a photographer of any sort.

I have been wanting this lp for ages on vinyl and these Mofi's although not cheap sound incredible like Tony Williams is playing in your living room!

One of my favorite Duke lp's up next.

Yes Sir! One of my greatest musical moments was sitting next to Jan Hammer at a tiny club on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago in '75. He had his group with Steve Kindler on violin, Fernando Saunders on bass and Tony Smith on drums. We had a table next to Jan and we had conversation between songs. The greatest moment was when I lit a Raleigh Cigarette (back when I smoked cigarettes), he turned to me and said "hmmm . . . smells good" and I said it was only a only a Raleigh, and we both had a big chuckle. True story.

and they did Red & Orange that night.
