Came across this the other day.  A bit rich for my blood, but I bet it sounds incredible.

T+A makes excellent audio speakers and gear.

Just what I need, another prospect. I've been researching headphones for the past 6 months and my short list is down to two. This could make it three, but I'm getting pretty tired of waiting and the endless reading that comes with research.

Any idea as to how much they cost?

The ECP T4 combined with the other option I am considering (Hifiman Arya) is about the same $$ as the RAAL Requisite. Granted that doesn't include the amp, but I already have amplifiers suitable for the task.

I'd be a bit leery to get a Hifiman.  Spritzer (who makes the Mjolnir Audio gear) has not had good things to say about their build quality or reliability.

My understanding is QC issues aren't as much of a factor as they once were with previous models. What the Arya lacks in build quality is made up for in performance.

HiFiMan has been hit and miss on their headphones, but they have improved their QC according to folks at headphone.com 's forums...I actually had a set of their Anandas here a few weeks ago....the $999 down to $600 planars...they to me were very plastic looking and a loose fit...but many folks like them..for me they were meh for sure...the soundsage and tonality were not to my liking..the bass was tight and accurate as well as piano...but the treble....ouch for me.

What ever you do withe any can is make sure you audition or that you can return them...

The Susvara's are $6000!! and they have great reviews....so go figure.

Alex

At that price, would definitely rather get the T+A Solitaire!      No way I'm spending 6K with QC issues like Hifiman has.  :o
