Think I'll join your groove JD  :thumb: ...

On December 21st, 1989, at the end of a busy year on the road and in the studio with the Pat Metheny Group, Metheny joined bassist Dave Holland and drummer Ray Haynes at the Power Station in New York City for a single day's, let's-see-what-happens jam. The result is a thrilling, live-in-the-studio disc, documenting the creatively charged encounter among these stellar multi-generational players.

I seldom recommend anything. Everyone's taste is different, and none are the same. But this is so uncommon that I have to recommend. I became a big fan of Valery Ponomarev. His performance at Live at Vartan-006 is superb. So excellent that I became a fan.You must hear him to believe it.I am including a photo of the album so anyone can order it.this is what one reviewer said:"If you know what real jazz is all about this is the recording for you."

A wee bit north of Houston, Texas.  I'll gather you at the airport.  Come on the weekend and meet the local freaks.  Or not, I should be able to keep you entertained regardless.  Bring a record or ten if you like, but I think you'll be happy with my library.  My man.

My days of traveling are over.I am 80 and on Oxygen because I smoked from the time I was 11 until 78. I used to inhale my pipe. It is kind of you to offer. The music gives me solace and peace. My life is wrapped up in the music.
