Saw Chris Conner in a club in Chicago and remember a patron shouting out a request for "Something Cool". "Uh, no", Miss Conner replied, "that's June CHRISTY". Love her single "All About Ronnie". Must be on one of those albums you've been spinning or downloading as the case may be.

Let me tell you a good story,Jim.I went to a club in New Jersey and I brought along my LPs of her for her to sign. When I first saw her I was 16 and needed someone to give me his draft card . I told her she was the golden girl of my dreams and she signed all of the lps.I first saw her in a Black Gown.When she went into the dressing room she appeared in a Black gown.I was standing next to the MC and he said,That is for you. I saw her after that in the Blue Moon in NYC and she sat at my table.She was warm and generous and somewhat shy.I will never forget her.She lives in my memories and I feel she was the golden girl of my dreams.I am 80 now and can't forget her.
