Angus' schoolboy outfit- still cool or kinda pathetic?

What do you think? Is AC/DC guitarist Angus Young's schtick getting old? Should a grown, slightly-over-middle-aged man still run around in the short pants and and schoolboy outfit? Is it timeless or sort of sad?

That's his style...his trademark, if you will. And he's short ...and in shape. So yes, keep the schoolboy outfit.

But I am starting to think the outfit is starting to verge on self parody. I'm voting "getting sort of pathetic." No offense, Angus.

I agree wholeheartedly, Angus, Mick and Steve all still rock, but the fashion is so silly on old men

Don't change those three basic cords, don't change the schoolboy outfit....some things should never be tampered with.

Oh yeah, and KISS should never be seen without their makeup and David Lee Roth should add a little weave to the top as it's thinning of late

As long as he still rocks - AND HE MOST CERTAINLY DOES - the older he gets, the cooler it gets. I wanna see him at 70, cranking out the riffs and jumping around in his shorts.

I teach band and a listening class at the high school level. The school boy pants he wears is cool to the rockers, but silly to the vast majority. I actually asked this question in my listening class two weeks ago.
