I'm looking to re-visit / re-do an older pair of kit speakers, and the drivers for the Jeff Bagby Piccolo would be an easy fit into an existing pair of cabinets that I own. I prefer a refined or easy going sound, and have not be able to find any comments about the sound of the Piccolos (or their larger cousins the Mandolins). Anyone build these or hear them? My other consideration would be GR-Research N 1 kits, but the tweeter would not fit easily in the space I've got available. I've heard the N 1s though, and found them to sound quite excellent. Any comments would be much appreciated.
