Title: British HiFi
Post by: Rjmartindale on 14 May 2022, 04:16 pm
Originally from the UK, I live in California.
Interested in good quality audio equipment, but not the weird stuff that doesn't really improve quality.
However very interested in the improvements to be made to sound quality, such as interconnects, speaker cable and good quality power blocks.
Found this site and will browse about and look for useful information.
Always interested in learning more about tube technology, and improved sound via good quality cabling!

Welcome to AudioCircle. I'm currently enjoying a pair of Graham Chartwell LS6 speakers. As for looking for audible improvements through cable swaps, I suggest getting proper speaker placement and room issues in order will give you much better results than any cable swap.

Definitely, I have slowly improved everything, including placement, distance to speakers, and of course upgrades to components. Currently I am happy, but I have found that good quality power blocks/conditioners have helped, especially as our local power grid can be inconsistent!

Welcome!

I have been a Chord DAC captive, since my first one over 20 years ago.  Currently I am running a DAVE in my system.
