Further Q re Isabella DAC and Jitter
« on: 7 Nov 2008, 12:54 pm »
I'm also a huge fan of Empirical Audio's gear. I currently use a modded sonos/pacecar and itunes/mac as my sources...so I'm well up to speed on digital/computer audio. These are in fact my ONLY sources....

How does the Isabella DAC deal with jitter?

Hi wappinghigh,

Welcome to the RWA forum!

This was brought up in another post that I responded to.  See:
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=58678.msg525376#msg525376

The thread also contains user feedback and starts here:

The Isabellina dac is also an option in the Isabella tube linestage, and has been discussed in this 6moons review: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/redwine10/isabella_3.html (scroll down) and in the lastest issue of Tone Audio:
http://www.tonepublications.com/ToneAudio/Home.html

Quote
The Isabella has the most musical sound I’ve yet to experience when feeding from a source via USB." - Jeff Dorgay, Tone Audio

When you listen to the Isabellina, the very last thing that will cross your mind is jitter.

Best regards,

Vinnie
