Roger, you are correct,  Your Battery Power Mini doesn't count.  This is for the AC powered Mac Mini's.  The SMPS in the Mini is quite sensitive to what it sees from the incoming AC line.  The IEC C7 connector used is non-polarized and it wants to see the incoming AC in a specific way.  Whether it is sensitive to the + or - portion of the incoming power is irrelavent.  One way just sounds better than the other.  Must be that those little electrons like to be bumped one way and not the other. Shouldn't matter, but it does.  Go figure  :scratch:

I could not do a battery powered mini, I have to give mine back and update it a lot    I would like to though
