CAROLINA AUDIOPHILES
Find out who is near you and let your whereabouts be known.
Click the link below and you can add your own location to the map, and you can readily see audiophiles in your general area. This is a great tool for planning gatherings and inviting your audiophile neighbors, and to make sure you are invited to gatherings near you.

EDIT: Be advised that the link posted above by Rodney is no longer functioning. So no more map. I will request admin to remove the link. There is a separate (sticky) greetings thread in our Circle here. (http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=38424.0)
Now that is really cool! 8) Thanks Rodney!
Looks like we got stereofool in Asheboro surrounded. ;) I nominate you as official AC Carolina G2G host, steve.
Monthly meetings at your place? :bounce:

A very nice job with the map weitrhino! Thanks for putting it togeather for us.
Now we need to figure out some way to get togeather and meet oneanother.

I'm hoping that more frequent meetings will be a natural consequence once the map is more fully populated making it much easier to see who is around.

Well, the Carolina Audiophile member map seems to be moving a bit slow. Therefore I have changed the map system to allow interested parties to place their own markers instead of relying on me to create them. I will still admin the map for clarity and to remove any spam that may pop up, but this map allows open access for all users.
The original post has been edited with the new hyperlink.
If you submitted your info for the previous map you do not need to do anything. I moved your data to the new map linked below.

It's good to see members in the area. I thought I was the only one addicted to this stuff. I put I'm from Greenville but I'm actually in Williamston. I do work in Greenville.

Hi Tetrode,
Not so my friend-- there's me (Charlie) and another hi-fi junkie (Martin) about 30 miles from you, across the river in Port Wentworth and Garden City (GA). I'm running vintage Carver gear with homebuilt ESL's and Martin has a bunch of Sunfire stuff and tube amps. We get together from time to time to build some speakers or party and spin tunes.
