Hi from the Pacific NW
« on: 20 Oct 2019, 11:59 pm »
Getting back into 2-channel audio from about a 5-year hiatus.  Was into headphone only listening, with the exception of a pair of 901s hooked up in the living room for some background music.  Was a diehard, card-carrying audiophile for more years than I care to mention before rhat.

I set up a dedicated listening room in my master bedroom and threw my bed into the living area, which sort of reminds me of a "flat".  Just live with my teenaged son so I can do weird things like this.

Still trying to figure out this site.  I'm hoping I won't always have to type in the security code, the first word at the bottom of the page and the last three digits showing each time I make a posting.   :D

Welcome!  I look forward to hearing what 2 channel gear you’re currently using and to see if you too catch the upgrade bug.  Lots of great folks here and some very active manufacturers in their circles.

As mentioned before after a couple posts everything gets much easier.

Welcome A/D.  From what part of the NW do you hail?  (Oh, and weird things approved on here.   :thumb:)

Welcome to AC!

Mudslide and I are both in Oregon (as are a bunch of others). Washington is well represented, too.

Welcome to Audio Circle! :thumb:

Pacific NW meaning Alaska? British Columbia?

As you transition back into 2 channel, I’m pondering headphones... Got any advice?

Thanks, everyone.

Looking forward to being a part of the community.

I'm in Washington State, about an hour southwest of Seattle.
