Can you use an external DAC connected through the IDA-8 analogue connection without changing the signal from that input, or is the input from the external DAC filtered through the IDA-8 DAC changing the original input, as the analogue inputs are digitized I believe?

The analog input on IDA-8 is digitised so you don't want to use the analog output for DAC again.

Thanks.  Just to confirm, if I understand what you're saying it's best to use the internal DAC of the IDA-8 because even the analogue signal is filtered through the IDA-8 DAC.  Correct?
