These are a kit-based speaker sold by GR Research and built by Mile Lundy of Uileam Audio.These were built in the second half of 2019 using MDF. ( The flatpack kit is linked below only for reference. )
Upgrades included:
- tube connectors
- Sonic Caps and Miflex Bypass Caps
These do NOT have the alpha-core foil inductors – I skipped that upgrade.
These speakers are fantastic and in perfect working order. They produce a lot of high quality sound out of four little drivers. I've been amazed time and time again at how good they sound every time I upgrade equipment upstream from them.
Why am I selling? Fair question!
- I have picked up some open baffle speakers and want to move away from box speakers
- I am moving in several months and want to reduce the bulk of the move
The kit w/upgrades alone costs almost $820.
