Hi,

I bought a demonstration one here in Australia.  A really great turntable. Thinking of buying a bryston phono stage in the future.

Hi

I know we had about 5 tables left abut a month ago but I think most of them were sold.  I can check if you are interested.

You mean as opposed to the distortion that digital provides?

James - the table was superb in every respect, from ease of set up to sound quality, so does its discontinuity mean you were just trying a table as an experiment? Thanks, Patrick

Agree with Redbook; however, there's still a significant relative cost and limited choices in replacement LPs.

Hi

The table was excellent and we built the power supply which tested out to be one of the best power supplies available regardless of price.

We committed to 200 tables and sales were good at first but slowed significantly in the last half of the year.

I assume turntables are a product that people want to buy from a long-term turntable manufacturer rather than Bryston.

james

PS - we do have other table manufacturers wanting to buy our turntable power supply though. :thumb:

Hi James,

Sorry to hear about the lack of sales of the Bryston turntable but at least you tried bringing a new product to market.  I will definitely try the bryson phono stage in the next year or so as I need a new one.

Also, I'm very happy with Addicted to Audio who is a dealer here in Perth.  They are helping with the firmware upgrade to my BDP 1.

Cheers Rod
