Sorry to have left you hanging, man.   No, we will not be teaming up for RMAF.  We weren't planning on doing RMAF at all until a friend invited  (Lampizaror) us into a nice lineup in a big conference room.

We will definitely reunite this partnership in 2016 though!  Jim's speakers are incredible and we've got some serious mojo when you combine us all.

Fred

Hey Fred, no biggie. You are quite the busy man and I'm amazed you handle what you do with your day job and family in the mix.

I was just hoping to hear the Big 7 with this setup. The Lite 7 sounded good at Newport but I remember Jim saying the night before the show they put in the Big 7 and he really liked it.

Hope to see you at RMAF this year.

Congratulation, Jim, Mary and Salk crew.  Two really nice write-ups.

Sorry if this was asked elsewhere but what is the white speaker?

It is an attempt to design a modest cost 3 way that still gives the high quality Salk output we expect. Still a work in progress.

Here's a link to Part Time Audiophile's CAF "Best in Show" report.  Lost out to a live performance, but did quite well...

Phil, I agree, Jim's room was sensational sounding, top tier absolutely! I've never heard Jennifer Warnes' "Famous Blue Raincoat" portrayed better, kudos to Salk, Wells, and Gingko/Dana Cables, well set up and a great system.

Even through youtube compressed video, The E3 just disapeared. I can sense the soundstage width and depth is unbelievable.

Dean Peer walked around The Show in Newport this year handing out a USB business card with four cuts of this song in various resolutions - 16/44, 24/96, 24/192 and DSD64.  I don't know if he released the recording other than that. We used it while taping this segment so as to avoid any copyright issues.

It sounds like a cover of In My Life by those boys from Liverpool.
