Title: Seperate PSU's for op amp in MOS125/250
Post by: Fanuc on 7 Feb 2006, 10:03 pm
Hello,

I am interesting in purchasing a MOS250. I have read in some posts on here that you can feed the op amp section seperately from the output section. I would very much like to do this.

What I mean is feeding the op amp with it's own PSU and transformer or use a secondary winding. ie. Independant of the main HT rails.

The problem is doing the earthing/grounding. Am not sure about this.

Any help appreciatted

Kevin

Can two lateral fets be used instead of one in the CFB arrangement. I was thinking after looking at one of Doug Self's amps (the load invariant), that he used two 2SC3281 in a CFB arrangement (admittedly without voltage gain) but these BJT's are not exactly sluggish parts compared with lateral mosfets. Ft being 30mhz on these parts.

Maybe mosfets are two problematic to do this with, or I am missing something.

Anyway, just thoughts.
