I have been using my BR2 remote control for my BDP-3, and it has allowed "play", "pause", and "stop".
These commands were available when the remote was programmed for a BCD-1, and with the remote being "told" it was controlling a BCD-1 (CD button on BR2 was pressed).
The BR2 no longer is controlling the BDP-3 when the "CD" button is pressed.
After a bit of experimenting, I have the "play", "pause", and "stop" commands with the "D/A" button pressed. I'm using a BDA-1 ( I expect to move to a BDA-3 sometime--I hope the BR2 will work with that unit as it does with the BDA-1).
Is this is what other users of the BR2 for a BDP-3 are doing?--having it set to control the "D/A"?
