I'm sitting in the GR Research room right now, listening to the GR Research Super Vs with Dodd Audio hybrid monoblocks.  Very synergistic combo.  Open baffle means open, boxless sound, but servo amps give the bass control, depth and heft.  I'm a bit picky, and can say it's a speaker/amp combo I enjoyed very much, one of my favorites at the show, regardless of price.  Nice.

I've seen a lot of people talk about that room but no one seems to point out the Tranquility Dac was driving all of this.  My point of going to that room was the dac, then I noticed dodd and then GR.
