My speakers are not at all a "matte" finish. They are really more of a "satin" finish. They are actually quite a bit more shiny than I thought they would be, but far from a hand rubbed gloss finish. My SongTowers are the nicest finished speakers I have ever owned, that's for sure!

even though yours and Nuances may be from the same batch of veneer, Jim managed to select and book-match the grain to make them each unique, and beautiful in their own right.

Hi,

Satin finish gives it a slight sheen. It looks pretty nice imo.

The SongTower's of the week are Milacqua's (from AVS) SongTower QWT's finished in American curly Walnut with a tint darker than natural.
