6v6 pp bitsa amp

Originally an ebay purchase, this was a magnevox console pull.
Didn't sound so great so after hearing a nice set of vintage ampex 6973 push pull amps the magnevox was gutted for the iron and converted to a long tail follower push pull circuit with a ef86 driver and a 12au7 phase splitter.

This turned out to be a really nice sounding amp, good bass control and nice presentation~soundstage.
Enter the new faceplate for a finalized build, just finished the plate last week and started swapping the guts into it.

My electronics teacher from the Randall is doing the build for me in trade for a new platter for his Teres.

Nice project! Pay close attention to your feedback circuit- that will make all the difference. Another thought: If you're cathode biasing this, try it with and without a capacitor AC bypass. If without, you'll need two cathode resistors (one per pair of 6V6's). You can also try one cathode resisotr per tube.

Note: Stay away from the glue gun.
