The Leon Fleischer series is good from 1965, more smart than exuberant.  I would like to hear Serkin/Bernstein. BrianMs recommended Cliburn and Perahia should be awesome too. Try to catch a listen on amazon, rhapsody or arkivemusik before buying.

Pollini with Abbado is the best out of th fifty or so recordings I've heard.
