This is a significant upgrade over the stock Duet PS. Nichicon Muse, Black Gate and Sonicap Gen 2 capacitors add up to over 60,000 ufd.
Discreet HexFred rectifier bridge. Handmade circuit board all point to point wired with Nitro wire. ACME Audio Cryo-treated, silver plated IEC, fuse and fuse holder.
At a recent listening session, most people couldn't believe the improvement this supply made. You could hear the bass extend to the basement. The sizzle from the highs was eliminated.
This PS will sell for $475.00. There will be an Ultimate version available later on for about $1,000.00 with Jensen caps and additional pre-regulator. There will also be a Nirvana upgrade available.
With the Duet, the MOST important thing is the quality of the power supply.
