The Musical Fidelity V-DAC at 299.00 is an excellent way to help you friends upgrade their systems. Most I have talked to are tired of the way their CD players sound. This is an option where nothing has to be thrown out. This goofy little unit will liven it up, widen the sondstage a bit and get them excited about pursuing other Hi-Fi refinements.....maybe.
