Dan, I wrote "a reasonable speaker cable".  For the few of us that have speakers with a 3 Ohm impedance at 20 kHz. then a speaker cable with  ~0.6 Ohms of reactance at 20 kHz is not "a reasonable speaker cable".

I didn't think that your post #15 was about very high frequency response roll-off.

I think approximately 5 uH of speaker cable inductance would be considered nominal/reasonable.

But even still, that would only result in about 0.3db (relative) reduction at 20khz with a 3 ohm driver.  (If I did the arithmetic correctly.)  What is the inductance of your driver/transducer at 20khz??
