Hey, I'm not sure from looking at the product page if you have a tube dampener for the 12SC7 type tube. Same size as the 12SN7, which is a little more common.

Is there one? Even w/ tenderfeet under the pre I still think I'm getting some microphonic crud from these phono tubes.

Hi. If your 12SC7 is a straight-sided glass bottle tube, you'll use a size "30" damping instrument. If the 12SC7 is a metal-shell tube, you'll use a size "25" damping instrument (if bottle-shaped, size "40").

Though any of Herbie's tube damping instruments would be appropriate for this tube, I recommend considering UltraSonic Rx or UltraSonic SS for the 12SC7.
