HI, Rusty,
I could play DSD files with DAC9SE through foobar software. However, little problem makes me annoying, which is sort of "poping" noise. Such noise coming out when I click the play button for DSD playing, or forward or backward button to move other songs. I confirmed this happening with several owners of DAC9SE.
In fact, the guide for DSD play-back in Foobar in Nuprime homepage is kind of out of date..It even does not mentioned DAC9SE or Alita..
Maybe the ASIO file you provided for DAC9SE is not working well at Foobar, I guess. Even I can not see "control panel" for ASIO setting in Foobar.
Please fix this out...Thanks in advance.

Can you try uncheck the DoP box as shown in the image?

I think there are something wrong at ASIOfile..My foobar is ver.1.5.3..and SACD option shows "DSD processer" option only...I can not see DAC9SE page..
I will upload that image very soon..

Here's the page for SACD setting, As you may see, I can not see DAC9SE setting which was in your case..

I didn't give you the complete information. Just got this from support:

1. Download SACD plugin version 0.9.4 for Foobar here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sacddecoder/files/foo_input_sacd/

2. The the DoP checkbox will appear and you can uncheck it.

This will allow you to send native DSD to DAC-9SE.
