An Unconventional Cornet Phono Stage

This super low-profile, custom machined aluminum enclosure houses a Hagerman Cornet phono stage. The half-kit was built in an unconventional manner, with all of the components soldered to the back-side of the pcb. Can't get much thinner than this, the rectifier tube sits just proud of the top of the lid. The Hagerman inverse-RIAA board can be seen plugged into the rear panel. This device permits line level sources to serve as an input. The i-RIAA filter is a burn-in and testing tool but I also enjoy listening to my CD player when connected through the phono stage.
