I dont believe they lost all this nice wood for a 1 piece part.
Seems a horn not a cone, as cone its too heavy.

You're correct, I should have said "horn" or "waveguide", not a cone.
That's certainly not a cone! :lol:

Beautiful piece of wood!
Always a challenge to figure out what to do with such a natural thing of beauty.
Wonder if he did any calculations on the proper interior shape or if there are any unseen weaknesses left in the wood.
Too bad he'll probably never find a matching piece to make a stereo pair.

Actually he is making the SECOND horn to Match the FIRST. He actually shows the first one that somebody else has already made. At 12:45 into the first video he shows the first one he is trying to mate.
And the Person that has commissioned this work is Winston Lambert (sp?) :thumb: :thumb:
