Title: DAC testing
Post by: Samoyed on 10 Jan 2019, 06:07 pm
These guys are looking at testing Nuprime Dacs. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/which-dac-measurements-do-you-like-to-see-next.2343/page-50

I say go for it!

My evolution one continues to surprise me.  :thumb:

The reason NuPrime has such value for money is that we don't sponsor products for review, we don't do shows (only Munich, and a very simple booth), we don't advertise much (only through TAS).

We rely on customers word of mouth markeitng.  :thumb:

Sending things to Amir is looking for trouble.

He takes pleasure in skewering equipment manufacturers using his own unverified measurements as ammunition. If an owner wants to send one in then that is a different matter but as a manufacturer I wouldn't.

Unfortunately he has a lot of acolytes that like to pile on.  To me the website is good for an occasional laugh and that's it.  Amir's reputation  goes back to the WBF forum.  They are the objectivist side of the fence.

Many of you guys here on audiocirlce are much more qualified to offer a review.  Peer reviews are the most reliable.
