For years, I've hung in there with Edge and IE before that. Don't ask me why...
So frustrated with its logy (lack of) performance, the last straw was somehow eliminating thumbnail photos from Craigslist. I was just about to jump ship and switch to Chrome which I'd been using for sites that didn't agree with Edge.
Turns out Edge was reimagined and reintroduced in January, now using Chromium, so I guess sorta like Chrome.
So I downloaded...It's a revelation! Snappy, crisp and transferred settings and favorites. All the sloooow and stupid apparently gone.
If you've had similar experience with the previous Edge, I suggest you give it a whirl. My only regret it that it took me this long. Well that, and it wants to default to Bing as search engine, but I fixed that, preferring Google in address bar.
Started my day off right!
