I want an awesome gaming headset, don't care much about talking I want wild ass surround, 3D, OMG it came from way over there sound. Its a PS3 or Laptop....95% on PS3
 Which is better, Tritton like AXPRO or Ear Force DPX21 ??

 Like around $200 max...both above are like 179 or 130 if I remember correctly.

Hello! Awhile back I was looking for a SS headset. I tried some Tri's and some TB's. I was quite impressed with the overall experience of TB's line of headsets. I ended up buying TB's DPX21. It is a wired headset as I was afraid of router interference. The only thing I have to say is at first it was hard to place the front and rear sounds, but after a couple of hours of gameplay I seemed to adjust to it. I have no problems with it now. Clear as day. Very satisfied with them.

Cmon Ed, you are very knowledgeable about headphones. Why don't stick to a good stereo headset? 5.1 and 7.1 is a gimmick.
