 Things here turned bad quickly. While I will be able to continue retail sales, I have to move every piece of demo gear in the store. Nothng was damaged or even got wet but due to the amount of water and no way to quickly get rid of it, I want eveything out before moisture starts taking it's toll. I will have to start over after the clean-up.

 This is only temporary - I am not closing my doors.

 This flooding is the worst in recorded history for New York and has hit our area bad, very bad. We have whole towns and counties that are literally closed and some towns comletey wiped out. Many of you may have already seen my town on CNN. IN fact, my store could be picked out in an arial view shown on CNN this morning. We have numerous helicopters doing air rescues. The national guard is saying some parts of this area are similar to New Orleans but without the high death toll.

 I will try to update my website in the next few days but I am going on 30+ hours without sleep so it won't be tonight.

 Here are some of the bigger items I would like to get out quickly:

  As a follow-up. I am moving my office back into my home for a while. This will allow me to run credit card payments as well as keep the computers running as I work mostly from my lap-top.

 I still have to put together a list of everything that is available but I have been spending my days at the store and been away from my computer.

 For those who have emailed me about coming in this weekend to help in the clean-up process, I want to extend my greatest thanks. Unfortunately, No clean-up can be started till we get rid of the water.

 Things are starting to look better and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We had fire departments from 3 different counties on our street today pumping homes and businesses out.
 Several people helped me get everything out and I am now at the point of washing the walls down with bleach and tearing a few walls down.
 Now if I could only get some electricity.

  We are starting to get out of critical mode. Another few days and we should have things ready to start planning re-opening the showroom and work benches. All the sheetrock walls have been torn down and taken out to the garbage pile (very large pile). Our floors are now almost completely dry.

 I will be continuing the flood sale to help keep us going financially till we get back on our feet again. That picture is nothing, you are looking at only 4 inches or so. That was taken Tuesday night from a smaller flood. By Wednesday night, the water in there was over 6 feet deep.
 The bike belongs to one of my twins. They use to ride around in the basement.
