Hi all.
About a year or so ago, I bought a home cinema.
Free 49'' TV Cheap Yamaha receiver and a good deal on Audio 13 speakers with GR Research drivers.
Now, my second cheap & cheerful purchase is a ambiant sound system for my office.
I bought from the same person that sold me the speakers for my home cinema a mini subwoofer (Cambridge Soundworks)
with a no name mini stereo speakers (Two 3'' drivers) and I bought from Schiit Audio a Magni DAC.
I had already an old pair of Sennheiser HD650 that I rerely used, because no amplifier.
So, my total cost is : 119 USD for the Schiit DAC and the remaining 100 CND$ for a total 250$ not bad.
That should make me in the club of the Cheap & Cheerful ?
How does it sound ? Not bad for the price.
Have a nice day.

Nice looking little kit. I'm thinking maybe a speaker upgrade might be the best investment here. Lots of really nice cheap small speakers out there.

Thanks Letitroll98.
Yes, I agree, not the most high end speakers I have, but for now, it does the job.
I'm looking at GR Research offering, but I have to put a few $ $ $ aside.

Oh, cool. I didn't know the Magni could have a DAC.
What kind of digital input does it allow?
Kind regards,
Drew

Hi Drew,
the Magni with built-in DAC is a fairly new offrering from Schiit.
Sounds good to my old ears.
