Boy, JQP, that's a full plate.  :)

Rainbow Six 3 is basically better/prettier graphics with increased functionality.  The online co-op AI is better.  Overall, it's a more polished game and, IMHO, markedly more fun to play with friends on Xbox LIVE over GR.

This article goes into some of the differences between Ghost Recon a little bit more:

Who has been playing GRIT on Live since last week?

I played several hours this weekend - had a blast. Played with  mcrespo71 several times last week.

There have to be more GRIT players than Skybox and myself (Blur Rocks)!!!  C'mon get online and let's do some missions!  Skybox and I have been having an AWESOME time on this game.

skybox sez : No kidding! We had a blast last night!  My favorite right now are defending and firefights in the Embassy. If you get killed and respawn it is amazing how far you have to run to get back to the action. And you may get ambushed on the way... :o

It is so cool talking with fellow AC members during the games and between games.

I'm thinking of playing some GRIT tonight.  Anyone else want to join me?

I played with mcrespo71 (BLUR ROCKS) the other night. I think he has been straying away from G.R.I.T.  I hear Rainbow Six is more of a close combat game, like the Market map on firefight mode for GRIT.

I have achieved a dubious honor, a rank of 14th out of about 10,000 grit players. To get there I played about 100 games in a week, which probably will not happen very often ( I was sick for 2 days   )

Nothing wrong with GRIT- I've just got so many other Xbox Live compatible games that I've been spending time on- like TopSpin or Rainbow 6.

Yes I will be getting rainbow six pretty soon since my friend has already gone through the training for it. We can switch back and forth between the two for live...
